Welcome to 1st Wingham Scout Group, part of the Manning District and found on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.

1st Wingham Scout Group was formed in the 1920s and youth members first met at the Wingham Showground until the group moved to the Bungay Road property in 1927.  The Group has strong ties with the Wingham community and youth will have opportunities to be involved in the local, District, Regional, State, and National Scouting communities.

The Youth Program fosters the personal growth of the youth members, through adventurous, fun, challenging, and inclusive programs.  Scouts empower young people to make decisions, take the lead, and learn by doing.  Provided in safe spaces where the youth can work with others to plan and embark on their own adventures, have respect for all members, and promote individual strengths while providing new challenges to build resilience.  This is done in an environment that provides adult guidance and support so the Scout can 'do their best'.
